High stool
Nicola
The Nicola stool stands out for its elegant design and sturdy structure, ideal for corporate spaces such as executive bars, internal cafeterias, or informal collaboration areas. Its veg-leather upholstery and calibrated height make it a sober, functional choice within our high stool line. It combines a contemporary look with easy cleaning and durability.
Under the upholstery sits a wood plywood shell with a high-density cushion, not a molded sheet: that is the construction that keeps its shape in a seat used standing-to-sitting several times a day. The seat sits at 74 cm off the floor, the standard bar height, and the tubular steel base with epoxy coating includes a reinforced footrest, which is what keeps legs from tiring when they do not reach the ground.

Frequently asked questions
About the Nicola chair.
We answer the most common questions about the Nicola chair: adjustments, dimensions, and warranty.
What bar height does it correspond to? +
The seat sits at 74 cm off the floor and the stool's total height is 98 cm. That is the standard measurement for bars and high tables with a 100 to 110 cm work surface, which is typical for internal cafeterias and standing work areas. If your table is lower, it is worth checking the measurement before ordering.
Why does the footrest matter? +
Because at that height feet do not reach the floor and legs hang, which cuts off circulation and causes fatigue within minutes. The reinforced footrest gives a firm point of support, and being made of steel tubing, it withstands the repeated weight of getting on and off the stool.
What is the plywood shell? +
It is the laminated wood structure that sits under the upholstery, instead of a molded plastic sheet. It distributes weight more evenly and does not flex with use, so the seat keeps its shape. The high-density cushion and veg-leather sit on top of it.
What is veg-leather? +
A polyurethane upholstery with the look and feel of leather, made without animal hide. Compared to genuine leather, it holds up better to frequent cleaning and does not dry out, which matters more than appearance in a cafeteria area.
Does it comply with the "Ley Silla"? +
Yes, in that it is a seat with a backrest. That said, for standing-height workstations — cash registers, counters, laboratories — a cashier chair with height adjustment and adjustable backrest is a better fit, such as the cashier version of the Rimini.
