Frequently asked questions
About the San Pietro chair.
We answer the most common questions about the San Pietro chair: adjustments, dimensions, and warranty.
What is the difference from the San Pietro executive chair? +
The executive model has an adjustable headrest. The task chair shares the multi-lock synchro mechanism, adjustable lumbar support, mesh backrest and 53 kg/m³ seat, designed for workstations without a headrest.
What is the multi-lock synchro mechanism? +
Synchro means the backrest and seat recline in a coordinated way. Multi-lock lets you fix the backrest in several positions, not only upright, so you can work sitting straight or a bit more reclined depending on the moment.
Should I order 3D or fixed armrests? +
3D armrests with a soft pad adjust in height, width and depth: better when each user personalizes their own workstation. Fixed armrests reduce cost and variables when outfitting many identical workstations with standard-height desks.
What does the foam's 53 kg/m³ mean? +
That is the density of the seat foam. 53 kg/m³ falls in the full-workday range: it holds up better than medium densities of 35 kg/m³ and takes longer to compress with daily use.
Does the chair comply with the "Ley Silla"? +
Yes. The Mexican labor reform known as the "Ley Silla" requires employers to provide workers with seats that have a backrest, and the San Pietro task chair meets that requirement with adjustable lumbar support, multi-lock recline and height adjustment.
