Guest chair
Allegra
The Allegra chair is a practical, modern alternative in our folding chairs category, ideal for spaces that call for flexibility and easy storage. Although it does not fold in the traditional sense, its nesting design and caster-equipped frame make it easy to move and stack, optimizing the use of space without sacrificing comfort. A great fit for training rooms, auditoriums, corporate meetings, or multi-purpose spaces.
The seat tips up and the frames nest inside one another to store or transport the whole room at once. It has a mesh backrest, a foam-upholstered seat, self-adjusting lumbar support, and depth-adjustable armrests — ergonomics level 3 of 5, above guest chairs with no adjustments at all.

Frequently asked questions
About the Allegra chair.
We answer the most common questions about the Allegra chair: adjustments, dimensions, and warranty.
Is the Allegra folding or nesting? +
Nesting, with a tip-up seat. What it does is raise the seat so one frame slides inside the next. They take up far less room in storage, and there are no hinges to loosen under the heavy use of a training room.
What is the tip-up seat for? +
In storage, it allows the chairs to nest. In use, it lets someone pass through the row without having to remove the whole chair, which is appreciated in an auditorium or a U-shaped room.
How does it compare to the Forli in comfort? +
The Allegra ranks above it: 3 of 5 versus 1 of 5. It has mesh, a foam seat, self-adjusting lumbar support and adjustable arms. The Forli is plain polypropylene with no adjustments, built for stacking and freeing up space at the lowest cost.
Are the casters a problem in an auditorium? +
The 49 mm PU casters are smaller than those on a desk chair, so the chair will not roll away on its own with someone sitting in it. They are meant for rearranging the room, not for moving around while you work.
Does it comply with the "Ley Silla"? +
Yes. The Mexican labor reform known as the "Ley Silla" requires employers to provide workers with seats that have a backrest, and the Allegra meets that requirement with room to spare for its category.
