Executive chair Piamo, front view

Executive chair

The Piamo Executive Chair is a chair with lumbar support built for long workdays. The lumbar support isn't an add-on accessory — it's built into the backrest and follows the curve of the lower back all day long, instead of asking you to adapt to it.

The flip-up armrests with a soft 3D pad adjust in angle, width, and depth, so the elbow lands where it should regardless of desk height, and they flip up to let you pull the chair closer to the table. The synchro mechanism with an upright lock reclines the backrest and seat together, and locks them in place when the work calls for an upright posture. Certified under BIFMA X5.1 and available in black, blue, orange, and green.

Frequently asked questions

About the Piamo chair.

We answer the most common questions about the Piamo chair: adjustments, dimensions, and warranty.

What does it mean for the lumbar support to be built in? +

It means it's part of the backrest's structure instead of a separate piece you adjust on its own. The curve is already calculated for the lower back, so the support is there the moment you sit down and doesn't shift out of place as you move.

What adjustments do the armrests have? +

Three: angle, width, and depth. They also flip up, which lets you raise them to pull the chair closer to the desk or to get in and out without turning your body. The soft 3D pad cushions the forearm.

What is the BIFMA X5.1 certification? +

It's the standard set by the American association of office furniture manufacturers for task chairs. It puts the chair through load, stability, backrest-strength, and mechanism-durability testing. The Piamo is certified under that standard.

What colors is it available in? +

Black, blue, orange, and green. All four share the same spec sheet, mechanism, and dimensions, so they can be mixed on the same floor or assigned by area with no difference in height or adjustment.

Does the chair comply with the Ley Silla? +

Yes. The Ley Silla is a Mexican labor-reform law that requires employers to provide workers with seating that has a backrest, and the Piamo meets that requirement while adding ergonomic adjustments and lumbar support.
