Executive chair Avanti, front view

Executive chair

Of all our ergonomic chairs, the Avanti offers the most adjustment. The backrest, headrest, and seat move independently, so the chair adapts to the person instead of asking the person to adapt to it. Ergonomics level 5 of 5.

The lumbar support is self-adjusting: it responds to the pressure of the back with no knobs or levers to set. The headrest adjusts for height and tilt and is also finished in mesh, so heat doesn't build up behind the neck. The seat runs on a slide adjustment to set the depth, the armrests move up and down with a soft pad, and synchronized tilt locks in place and adjusts tension to match each person's weight. Mesh on the seat and backrest, and 60 mm PU casters that roll just as well on carpet as on hard flooring. Available in black and white.

Frequently asked questions

About the Avanti chair.

We answer the most common questions about the Avanti chair: adjustments, dimensions, and warranty.

What does it mean for the lumbar support to be self-adjusting? +

The support conforms automatically to the pressure the back applies, with no knobs or levers to set. It's the practical choice when several people share the chair, or when no one is going to take the time to adjust it.

What is the seat's slide adjustment? +

The seat slides forward and back to change its depth. Set correctly, it leaves about two or three fingers of space between the front edge of the seat and the back of the knee, which is what prevents leg pressure during long workdays.

What is the backrest tension adjustment for? +

It sets how much force is needed to recline. A lighter person needs less tension than a heavier one; without that adjustment, the backrest feels stiff for some and too loose for others. It can also be locked in whichever position you prefer.

What colors is it available in? +

Black with gray mesh, and white. Both share the same mechanism, dimensions, and adjustments, so they can coexist on the same floor or be assigned by area with no difference in use.

Does the chair comply with the Ley Silla? +

Yes. The Ley Silla is a Mexican labor-reform law that requires employers to provide workers with seating that has a backrest, and the Avanti meets that requirement with room to spare, adding a headrest, a self-adjusting lumbar support, and a seat with depth adjustment.
