Task chair
Varotti
Most workstations are outfitted with a single chair size, and there is always someone it does not fit. The Varotti is our office chair with breathable mesh sized with extra room, for big & tall users. Ergonomics 5 of 5.
The backrest is breathable mesh, which is what keeps heat from building up over a full workday, and the padded seat has a sliding system to adjust depth to the user's height. The lumbar support is a firm support built into the frame, not an added piece: it holds the backrest under load without giving way. The armrests adjust in height, the recline locks in several positions and adjusts tension, and the base is reinforced nylon with heavy-duty casters, built for continuous use on an office floor.

Frequently asked questions
About the Varotti chair.
We answer the most common questions about the Varotti chair: adjustments, dimensions, and warranty.
What does it mean for a chair to be big & tall? +
It is a furniture category sized for users of larger build or height: a wider, deeper seat, a taller backrest and a frame engineered to carry more load. The difference shows most in the width between the arms and the width of the seat, which on a standard chair is narrow for quite a lot of people.
Does the mesh hold up to intensive use? +
Tensioned mesh spreads weight across its whole surface instead of concentrating it on one point, and it springs back into shape when you stand up. On task chairs it is actually more durable than upholstery, because it does not wear from friction in high-contact areas. The seating line carries a five-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
What does the sliding seat system do? +
It lets you slide the seat forward or back to adjust depth. That is especially useful on a wide chair: without that adjustment, an average-height person would end up with the front edge of the seat pressing behind the knee.
What is the difference between a task chair and an executive chair? +
The task chair is built for workstations and continuous use: it prioritizes durability, ventilation and adjustment. The executive chair adds visual presence, a taller backrest and finishes such as a headrest or an aluminum base. The Varotti is a task chair, with an adjustment level comparable to several executive models.
Does the chair comply with the "Ley Silla"? +
Yes. The Mexican labor reform known as the "Ley Silla" requires employers to provide workers with seats that have a backrest, and the Varotti meets that requirement with room to spare, adding a firm lumbar support, adjustable arms and a seat with depth adjustment.
