Executive chair Capri, front view

Executive chair

Among our desk chairs, the Capri is the one that solves the depth problem. Its seat has a slider: it moves forward and back, so someone who is 5'1" and someone who is 6'3" can use the same chair without one of them getting the front edge digging in behind the knee. Ergonomics 5 of 5.

The backrest is finished in mesh so the back can breathe, with an adjustable lumbar support and an adjustable headrest. The seat is upholstered, over 53 kg/m³ injected PU foam. The armrests are 4D: height, width, depth, and pivot. The synchro multi-lock mechanism reclines the backrest and seat together and locks them in several positions. Mounted on 60 mm PU casters, for carpet and hard flooring. Available in black and white.

Frequently asked questions

About the Capri chair.

We answer the most common questions about the Capri chair: adjustments, dimensions, and warranty.

What is the seat slider and why does it matter? +

It's a mechanism that moves the seat forward or back to change its depth. It matters because the right depth leaves two or three fingers of space between the front edge of the seat and the back of the knee. Without that adjustment, tall people find the seat too short and short people get their leg circulation restricted.

What are 4D armrests? +

Armrests that move in four directions: height, width, depth, and pivot. It's the most complete level of adjustment, and it helps keep the forearm supported whether typing, using the mouse, or writing by hand.

Does the white version show dirt more easily? +

White mesh shows less than you'd expect, since the open weave doesn't hold surface dust. The upholstered seat does need more attention, and it cleans up with frequent vacuuming and upholstery foam cleaner, without soaking it.

Is there a task-chair version of the Capri? +

Yes, with a low back and no headrest, designed for open workstations. They share the same design language, so the two work well together on the same floor. You'll find it under the low-back chair.

Does the chair comply with the Ley Silla? +

Yes. The Ley Silla is a Mexican labor-reform law that requires employers to provide workers with seating that has a backrest, and the Capri meets that requirement with room to spare, adding a headrest, 4D armrests, and a seat with depth adjustment.
