Task chair Fiore, front view

Task chair

The Fiore is our reclining office chair with the widest range of motion: a syncro mechanism that opens up to 132° and locks upright. Its D-shaped armrests are mounted to the backrest, so they recline along with it, and it is the only model in the line with mesh on both backrest and seat, plus height-adjustable, high-density foam lumbar support.

Structure in 30% glass-fiber reinforced polyamide, Class 3 BIFMA-certified piston, 26.7″ base with a steel ring, and a maximum load capacity of 120 kg.

Frequently asked questions

About the Fiore chair.

We answer the most common questions about the Fiore chair: adjustments, dimensions, and warranty.

What does reclining up to 132° mean? +

That is the maximum angle between seat and backrest. Upright, a work chair sits around 90 to 95°; 132° lets you lean back noticeably, enough to read or rest for a few minutes without getting up. The mechanism can be locked upright, and the knob adjusts how much force is needed to recline.

Why does it matter that the arms are mounted to the backrest? +

Because they recline together with it. On most chairs, the arms are fixed to the seat: when you recline, the backrest moves back but the arms stay put, and the forearm loses support right when it is needed most. Here the whole assembly moves as one, keeping support throughout the range of motion.

Isn't mesh on the seat uncomfortable? +

It is a 1.6 mm polyester mesh stretched over a reinforced polyamide frame, not a loose fabric. It distributes weight across the whole surface instead of concentrating it, and it curves down at the front to avoid a hard edge against the back of the knees. The advantage over upholstery is ventilation: there is an oval cutout under the seat that lets air pass through even while the chair is occupied.

What are its dimensions and how much weight does it support? +

It measures 59 cm wide by 65 cm deep, with adjustable height from 96 to 104 cm. The seat sits 44 to 51.5 cm off the floor. The backrest measures 52.5 by 47 cm. It weighs 14 kg and its maximum load capacity is 120 kg.

Does the chair comply with Mexico's Ley Silla? +

Yes. Ley Silla is the Mexican labor reform that requires employers to provide seating with a backrest for workers, and the Fiore meets that requirement with room to spare, adding adjustable lumbar support, adjustable recline, and height adjustment. It includes a five-year warranty.
